Starting from left to right. The black dancing Kokopelli figure glides across the desert sands representing fertility and trickery; being that these times were the birth of a new nation with the Native Culture falling for the trickery of the white men. There are purple slashes to the right of it which were cemented as an upside down vase to portray the burial of the Native culture in this country. Red thunder slashes are an embodiment of the bloodshed felt through these times. There are energy movements of blue, white, beige and green allowing the viewer to channel the "Taos Blue" as Natives call it. The crisp sky incomparable to any other place on earth. Beige satin paint is mixed with a crackle residue to create cracks identical to those found on the desert floor. PRANIC FUSION

The Pranic Fusion Mural at 5701 Bird Road in Miami FL 33155 is my largest project to date. This strong and bright work was commissioned by The Brandon Company to enliven and bring positive energy to the surrounding area. Large geometric shapes collide with dashes of deep color over a 5425 square foot expanse, acting out a liberation of my artistic prowess. The Pranic Fusion Mural was an adventure on its own, which seemed to be alive and piecing itself together day by day, unplanned and organic. By shattering the limitations of stretched canvas, this mural expanded my artistic disciplines and vastly diversified my creative techniques of choice. As my most personally satisfying work so far, The Pranic Fusion Mural is the first of many murals which I plan to complete around the globe.

Coming out of a dark period in my life feeling as if I had nothing left inside. Digging deep towards the floor of my soul I found there was more than I ever expected. I rose to the occasion, soaring towards the sky as the Pheonix does when ascending from ashes.

Species are becoming extinct all of the time. The West African Rhino is dead. Think about the concept of extinction of a species, of a race, or of a people. A lush, blue and green landscape is plastered with the pain and suffering of being the last one alive.

The element of Wind represents lightness and flexibility. Be light on your feet. When you fall down, pick yourself up. Meditate to keep a steady flow of energy. Maintain your breath.

Earth represents grounding. Oftentimes, making art can be an ethereal experience, which is why keeping down to earth is important. Feel gravity and sturdiness through meditation.

Fire represents intensity, light, and heat. Fire has a raw consumptive power, but can also be cleansing and purifying. Because it can be dangerous, it becomes our responsibility to learn focus and discipline to reign in our inner chaos.

The Antuve Navajo people live in the world’s oldest Pueblo which exists in New Mexico. I spent time with them, learning about the dry desert and the clear sky. Ani Hyuntikwalaski is their term for “Thunder Beings”. These beings live in the Sycamore trees. When they strike a hollow tree with lightning, fire burns them from the inside out. Inspired by the spirits running wilds through the roots of trees I chose to leave the canvas unstretched to resemble is freedom to change over the course of time. 

This piece is inspired by a harmony found on a particular day in summer. Just being at the beach, working out, and gazing at the sky, I felt Mother Nature blessed me with a glimpse of her wholeness. Connecting to this beauty, I strolled home, put canvas around a Palm tree like an easel, and began to create.

The overall composition of the painting is in the shape of a cross. The red slash is a remembrance of the pain Jesus endured on his journey for peace. A Large yellow solar plexus represents the sun while colors of green represent the trees, fruits and plants that the sun gives life to and in turn what we feed off of.

There’s a story to tell. The parallel wood pieces on the top and bottom are in the shape of the railroads that slaves were forced to build which paved the way for America to become the Giant that it is. String in the shape of the confederate flag with the middle point coming directly on the black males back. As he throws his middle fingers up towards Mc Donalds representing corporate America and the stigma that presides over our society like a cold fog. With the fence showing the caging of a society, culture and race. The photo of the KKK marching on the Edmund Pettus, satirically drawing smiley faces and dicks on them. Martin Luther King led a monumental non violent march on the bridge in 1965 cementing the idea of equality that is needed in our country. “is this the 60’s” Its simple. Were in a new millennium.

The overall architecture of this painting is in the shape of the American Flag but a distorted one. This is how I see our country as it stands today. The bell of liberty is covered in white and black paint because without harmony the bell will never sound. Photos of riots in Baltimore this year were an example of how racial tension in the land of America is ever present to this day! Country Club golf correlated to the orange paint (jail uniform) and golf ball represents the privatization of the prison systems and how the bigotry causes laws to skew against young black males in turn for profits. Nigge- is written and wiped out as this word is said behind closed doors amongst racist human beings. The fencing represent the caging and oppression that is felt by the African American community. I feel like I have been betrayed by my own country.

This piece was done in two parts. One with renowned artist Pablo Contricianis oversight and the second half was created while sitting on Lincoln road in Miami. Observing the energy of people passing by and the occasional conversation with someone who asked about what I was creating. This was an interactive piece as many different energies came in contact with it during the process.
